Emmy winning Creative Director, Mark Monteiro, has been creating breakthrough advertising for over twenty years.
Since 2009, Mark has punched in at David&Goliath where he has been instrumental in helping restructure the new business effort, winning Jack in the Box, California Lottery and Carl's Jr. His Super Bowl commercial for the Kia Niro, starring Melissa McCarthy, won the 2017 USA Today Super Bowl Poll.
Prior to D&G, Mark was Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at DDB Los Angeles. During his fifteen years there, he helped revitalize the office, turning it into one of the most awarded agencies in the world while racking up an impressive string of new business wins including Activision, Wells Fargo, Ameriquest, Atari, SCE, Game Fly, Clearwire, APS, Full Tilt Poker, Parissa Lingerie, Smashbox, and Lynx. He was instrumental in spearheading the agency’s transition from a more traditional structure to one of the most successful digital shops in Los Angeles.
Mark’s work includes the“Don’t Judge’ campaign for Ameriquest which won the Emmy and was nominated twice. In addition to the Emmy, the campaign won almost every advertising award possible, including the Cannes Lion, One Show, D&AD, Effie, Belding, London International Advertising Award and New York Festival. All four commercials finished in the top five in the USA Today Super Bowl poll.
Earlier in his career, Mark worked at TBWA Chiat/Day and Team One Advertising where he created award-winning campaigns for Lexus, Nike, Porsche, Wells Fargo, Eveready, Mitsubishi, Budweiser, Honda, Yamaha, Audi, Volkswagen, Taco Bell, Epson, Pioneer and Yonex
Mark is one of the most awarded Creative Directors in the business and his work has received over 250 major advertising awards.
